Stair Carpet

Bordered stair carpet is available in a variety of widths, the most common being 27” wide (69cm) this width will leave a space each side of the runner on most staircases. Some stair carpets are available in 36” wide (90cm) which will require cutting down in width for the average width stair & creates a “bordered effect” whilst fully fitting the stair (see examples figure 1 Country House & figure 2 Orissa)

Border carpets

The border can be set around the perimeter of the room or as a central feature although to do this you do need a large room
